Homer Lee Adams, 86, of Berryville died February 25,1994, at Rogers Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 30, 1907, in Fordville, Ky., the son of Ben and Jallie Frances Evans Adams. He was a truck driver for Tommy Humphrey's and was a Pentecostal. He moved to the area 30 years ago from Kentucky.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Adams of Campbellsville, Ky.; one brother, Aubrey Adams of Rogers; three sisters, Hazel Jones, Loretta Andrews and Leva Keeran, all of Rogers; three grandsons.

Graveside services were Feb. 27 at Fairmont Cemetery in Kentucky under the direction of Tucker Funeral Home of Centeral City, Ky, Local arrangements were by Burns Funeral Home of Rogers. {mn} Rosa Cline

Ivon B. Adams of Harrison died Saturday April 1, 2000 at Hilltop Nursing Center in Harrison. She was 95. Mrs Adams was born Nov 30, 1904 to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Burnes.

She married Clyde Adams on Mar 19, 1920 and worked as a housewife. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughters: Helen Rainbolt, Anna Mae Tabor both of Harrison; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs Adams was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Elba Burnes; her husband Clyde Adams; one son, Hugh; one granddaughter, Robin Rainbolt Fulp; one great granddaugher, Jennifer Green; three great grandsons, four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville. Services will be 2 p.m. Tues at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Layton Cemetery in Yellville.

Pallbearers are Billy Pyle, Ron Proctor, Terry Gray, Seth Gray, Brett Gray and Justin Dearing. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the staff and employees of Hilltop Nursing Center, Nurses of the Marion County Home Health Care, Area Connection Employees, Dr. Robert Ahrens, Dr. Richard Ahrensand, Donna Ezell. {mn}

William Fred Allen, 86, of Clifty, Arkansas, died September 15, 1999 at his home. He was born November 5, 1912 at Clifty, Arkansas. the son of William Clarence and Mary Frances Ames Allen. He was a farmer, a veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Army and was a member of the Colbaugh Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Jessie Lee Graham Allen on June 15, 1984

Survivors include: one daughter Zella Mae Vaughan of Clifty; on daughter-in-law, Elaine Phillips of Clifty; one brother, Jim Allen of Hindsville; three grandsons, Phillips Vaughan and Michael Vaughan, both of Clifty and Barry Vaughan of Wichita, Kansas; two granddaughters, Debbie Phillips of Clifty and Pennie Longar of Derby, Kansas; eight nephews, W.J. Clark of Kingsburg, California, Richard Kelley and Wendell Kelley, both of Eureka Springs, Rex Kelley of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Don Kelley of Springdale, Roy Pergerson of Pinkerton, South Dakota, Bobby Ray Pergerson of Porterville, California and Dwight Allen of Hindsville; eight nieces, Iva Lee Grimes of Des Moines, Iowa, Sharon Cook of Kingston, Jewell Ann Allen and Lois Allen, both of Lemoore, California, Elaine Stout of Hindsville, Louise Sames and Evelyn Poe, both of Porterville, California and Patricia Allen of Herford,Texas; nine great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, at the Clifty Chapel Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. earl Dean Morris officiating. Interment was in the Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.

Pallbearers were Mitchell Hadley, Shade Hadley, Gene Gardner, Dean Outland, Bill Poorboy and Gary Bohannon. {mcr}

Loretta Andrews, 100, of Rogers died September 8, 2000 at Beverly Health Care Center. She was born July 14, 1900, in Davis County, Ky., to Benjamin Franklin and Jaley Frances Evans Adams. She was a member of the Assembly of God in Kentucky and was a retired seamstress. She moved to the area 30 years ago from Indianapolis, Ind. Her husband, Eddie Andrews, preceded her in death in 1948.

Survivors include one brother, Aubrey Adams of Rogers.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Barlow (Ky.) Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home in Barlow.

Mrs. Imogene Arbaugh, 74, of Oark died Wednesday, September 29, 1999, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.

She was a daughter of the late Preston and Grace Thomas Smith and widow of the late Estel Arbaugh.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathie Brown of Oark; one son, Larry Arbaugh of Oark; two sisters, Jackie James of Hartman and Betty Graves of Springfield; two brothers, Dolen Smith of Springfield and Johnny Smith of Centerton; seven grandchildren, Dean Arbaugh, Benjamin Cook, Lisa Vanderford, Cheryl Langdon, Jacinda Champlin, Cammie Brown, and Kelsey Brown; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Mossville Church with Rev. David Reddick officiating.

Burial was in Mossville Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

James Carl Armer, 79, of Kingston, Arkansas, died at his home on May 26, 1997. He was born March 21, 1918, at Kingston, the son of Nelson and Lizzie Nail Armer. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, a farmer and a member of the Elkhorn Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, W.T. Armer.

He is survived by his wife of 55 Years, Velda Armer of the home; one son, Junior Armer and daughter-in-law, Billie Armer of Kingston; one sister, Ethel Moore of Springdale; one granddaughter, Julia Jackson and her husband David Jackson of Kingston.

Services were held at 2 p.m Wednesday, May 28 at the Kingston Community Church with Dearl Wilson, minister, officiating. Interment was in the Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Christeson's Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were David Watson, Daniel Watson, Bill Grigg, Steven Root, Ray Root and Doyle Root. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Fancher, Bruce Cain, Lonzo Stephenson, Kenny Riley, Garland Carlton, Boyd Villines and Danny Villines. {mcr}

William Burke Armer, 71, of Pineville, Missouri died Tuesday, September 12, 2000 at the home of his daughter. He was born March 26, 1929 at King City, Calif., to the late Thomas Franklin Armer and Argie Ethel Allred Armer.

He was a former resident of Compton. He is survived locally by a sister, Virginia Wells of Harrison.

Graveside service with full military honors by VFW Post No. 9063 of Bella Vista is 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at Plumlee Cemetery. Arrangements by Sisco Funeral Home of Pea Ridge. {nct}

Martha Effie Jane Armes, 84, Of Springdale died June 19, 1997, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1913, at Kingston to William Isaac and Mary Laduskey Kesner Armes. She was a homemaker and a member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale. She was Preceded in death by one brother and her parents.

Survivors include three sisters: Elma Stout, Delma Clark and Merle Armes, all of Springdale; one sister-in-law, Mayme Armes of Springdale; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were at 10 a.m. Monday, June 23 at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale with the Rev. Cecil Garrison and the Rev. Berton Perry officiating. Burial was at 2 p.m. in Kingston Cemetery under the direction of Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Springdale.

Pallbearers were Millard Clark, Melvin Clark, Orvil Clark, David Clark, Eddie Clark and Newell Clark. Honorary Pallbearers were Clebert Armes, Kenneth Armes, Harvey Clark, Dwayne Clark, Craig Ratterree, Charles Davenport, Charles White, the Rev. Loy Counts, Fred Smelley and Jim Combs. {mcr}

Randy Lee Arnold, 35, of Stuttgart died May 20, 2001, at his home. He was born Nov. 16, 1965, in Rogers. He was an engineering manager for Producers Rice Mill. He was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and had served in the Naval Reserve. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stuttgart.

Survivors include his wife, Cathelene Hoskyn Arnold; one son, Christian Thomas Arnold of the home; one daughter, Lauren Elizabeth Arnold of the home; his parents, Connie Simmons Fischer of Bentonville and Janice Arnold of Gravette; one brother, David Arnold of Centerton; one sister, Melissa Arnold of Fayetteville.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Stuttgart with the Rev. Billy Kite officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Randy Arnold Children's Fund at Bancorpsouth in Stuttgart. Arrangements are by Turpin Funeral Home in Stuttgart. {mn}

Freddie Lee Atwood, 63, of Fayetteville died May 29, 2001, at his home. He was born Dec. 28, 1937, in Amburg, Wis., to Orville and June Atwood. He was a retired golf-car service manager and a Navy veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include two sons, James Michael Pohl of Tulsa, Okla., and Frederick Allyn Atwood of Hartford, Conn.; four daughters, Suzanne Lee Mathers of Abilene, Texas, Tanya Suzanne Huckaby, Jennifer Lee Clampitt and Elizabeth Belle Nock, all of Fayetteville; his mother of Rocklin, Calif.; two brothers, Rex Atwood of Desert Springs, Calif., and Ralph Atwood of Rocklin; one sister, Debbie Yeoman of Rocklin; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. {mn}
